William Wilhelmi

Bill came to Corpus Christi as a studio potter after receiving a Master of Fine Arts in Design from UCLA. He has achieved wide national attention with his now famous and distinctive designs in ceramics. Among his many venues are the American Crafts Museum, Whitney Museum of American Art and Cooper-Hewitt Museum, all in New York City, the Long Beach Museum of Art, Art Museum of South Texas, Musee de la Civilisation in Quebec, the Nation Museum of America Art and Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

Wilhelmi has won many awards, is featured in numerous book@123s and magazines and is listed in Who's Who in American Art. He is resident artist at Wilhelmi-Holland Gallery
